March is National Nutrition Month (NNM) and this year’s theme is “Get Your Plate In Shape”!
- Make half your plate fruits and vegetables.
- Switch to low-fat or fat-free dairy products.
- Make at least half your grains whole grains.
- Vary your lean protein choices; try to include seafood twice a week and beans/legumes more often.
