Joel Berg, a nationally-renowned expert and author, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Hungry for Change Summit. If you attended our very first Summit in 2010, then you witnessed and participated in the standing ovation following his powerful talk, and know that you don’t want to miss him. For those not familiar with Joel, there’s simply no other voice and perspective like his!
You’ll also have a chance to hear what’s happening on Capitol Hill from the one-and-only Ellen Teller of the Food Research and Action Center. As a veteran anti-hunger advocate and lobbyist, Ellen can explain federal policy in a way that energizes everyone — and there is much at stake right now.
And that’s just the start. Interested in the soon-to-launch Colorado Food Pantry Network, and how you can shape its formation and join? Or, want to learn more about child nutrition programs, the booming older adult population or how hunger impacts health and well-being? View the agenda online, and find out more about the featured speakers.
I love all that I learn at the Summit each year, but one of my favorite parts is simply reconnecting with you. For me, this day is like a family reunion where the tribe gathers and catches up amidst the hectic pace of our daily work and home lives.
