Will you join me on Wednesday, Sept. 27?

It’s almost here!

What I’m referring to is my favorite work day of the year – the Hungry for Change Summit. I know I say this every year, but that’s because it’s true. I love getting to spend the day learning alongside you and reconnecting.

Haven’t registered yet? The conference sells out every year, but there’s still time secure your spot

The 7th annual convening is taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 27, at The Cable Center in Denver. This year, Dr. Maya Rockeymoore will provide our keynote address. I had the pleasure of hearing her speak in D.C. this past February and was electrified. Not only did she teach me, but I was energized and knew we had to have her come talk in Colorado. I think you will feel the same way.

Dr. Rev. Tyler of Shorter A.M.E. will be sharing how he mobilizes from the pulpit to the streets on issues which affect our community. The Reverend puts his faith into real, tangible action every day. As if that isn’t enough, Adrian Miller, the Soul Food Scholar, will be telling us about black chefs in the White House.

And, of course, we will have plenty of other sessions that hone in on specific hunger-related content for you to take back and apply at your organization. Learn more and view the full agenda online.

Hope you can join me (and more than 200 advocates and community members) in learning, sharing best practices, and exploring innovative approaches that can foster more collaboration and move us toward ensuring no Coloradan goes hungry.

We’re more than halfway to capacity, so be sure to get your ticket soon.

I can’t wait to see you at the Summit!

My best,

Kathy Underhill
